It’s winter here and that means warm foods are super comforting!
Potatoes are one of my favorites, here is a way to take them to the next level!
1/4 cup yoghurt (or sour cream)
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon garlic (minced)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 cup cheese (I like cheddar for this or havarti if I’m up for a little more of a treat!)
Salt and pepper to taste
*I like to add Cayenne powder or chili flakes for a little spice!
Boil potatoes until soft (I leave skins on and just cut out bad parts)
Mash potatoes (with skins), add in all ingredients and mash until smooth!
Easy recipe that is sure to warm you up on a cold evening! 🙂
I like pairing it with grilled chicken or just a warm cup of tea.
